RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY


Overview

At The Archives, we take great care in crafting and fulfilling each order. Due to the custom and made-to-order nature of our products, all sales are final. However, if there is an issue with your order, we are here to help.

Final Sale Policy

All products sold by The Archives are made to order, personalized, or custom-printed based on the images, notes, or selections you submit at checkout.

As such, we do not offer returns or exchanges for reasons including but not limited to:

- Buyer’s remorse

- Incorrect image uploads

- Typographical errors in text or gift notes

- Low-resolution photo submissions

- Changes in personal preference

Damaged or Defective Items

We care deeply about the quality of your order and want you to be fully satisfied with your experience. While every piece is made to order and carefully reviewed before shipping, we know that things don’t always go as planned.

If your item arrives damaged or appears to have a defect, please reach out to us at hello@thisisthearchives.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

To help us make it right, include the following in your message:

- Your order number

- A brief description of the issue

- Clear photos of the product and any damage or packaging defects

We’ll review your request with care. If approved, we’ll send a replacement at no additional cost. While we do not issue refunds for damaged or defective orders, our priority is to ensure you receive a piece you’re proud to keep or gift.

Lost or Delayed Shipments

Once your order has shipped, it is the responsibility of the carrier. If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you did not receive it, please contact the shipping carrier directly.

If your package is lost in transit and tracking has not updated within 15 business days (domestic) or 30 business days (international), please contact us and we will investigate on your behalf.

Cancellations

Due to our quick production timelines, we do not accept order cancellations once an order has been placed. Please double-check your submission details carefully before checking out.

Changes to Orders

Once an order is submitted, we are typically unable to make changes to image files, personalization, addresses, or products selected. Please contact us immediately after placing your order if you notice an error—we will do our best to accommodate if the order has not yet entered production.

Gift Orders

If you are contacting us regarding a gift order, please include the recipient’s name and shipping address, along with your order number, if available.
